LegendARY Dinner

"If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or dead, who would it be and why?"

If I could go to dinner with anyone in the world, I would go to dinner with 2-Pac. I would go to dinner with 2-Pac because he is an idol, from his music to some of the actions that he has made. I'm pretty sure most of us know that 2-Pac's music is hecka tight but most people don't know about the actions he took to overcome violence.

For example, I am not sure you know this, but a long time ago, 2-Pac was part of a movement to bring peace between gangs. This helped protect kids from any violence on the streets. Though he had his own moments of violence, we all have times that we regret in the future. These are a few reasons I would go to dinner with 2-Pac.

Lincoln's Birthday

President Lincoln is one of our most well known presidents for his role in keeping the United States of America together during the Civil War. He also signed the Emancipation Proclamation which freed the slaves. Because of his importance, we remember him and his work by celebrating his birthday as a national holiday. This Monday, February 13, 2017 there will be no school and no program. Have a great three day weekend!
